Directed by Josh Boone. With Shailene Woodley, Ansel Elgort, Nat Wolff, Laura Dern. Hazel and Gus are two teenagers who share an acerbic wit, a disdain for the conventional, and a love that sweeps them on a journey. Their relationship is all the more miraculous given that Hazel’s other constant companion is an oxygen tank, Gus jokes about his prosthetic leg, and they met and fell in love at a cancer support group.
The best romance-drama movie of this year.. Its the kind of love story that is so true and imperfect that you just can’t help but fall in love with it. “The Fault in Our Stars” made me want to fall in love, made me feel the happiness in it, made me feel the disappointment and struggle. But most of all, it made me feel the pain of loss or death when all you’ve ever felt with the person was happiness and love.
